Creation, Evolution, and the Lie of Time

“Avoid profane and vain babblings and science falsely so called” (1 Timothy 6:20).

Before I tell you the truth, I’ll tell you a bit of nonsense. The nonsense is that the earth is billions of years old, that a star beget the sun, afterward it beget the earth, that evaporation brought about the oceans and seas, that every natural thing you see on Planet Earth came about by natural processes through evolution … or something like that. Since I don’t believe the fantasy, I never quite remember it as it was told me. And the World thinks we Christians are nuts!

I was sitting in a class, at a church, where a facilitator, for the series The Truth Project, asked if participants believed the earth was millions of years old or six thousand years old? I was surprised, as was he, to see adults raise their hands that they believed in “an old earth.” How can a churchgoing Christian believe such a thing? The facilitator raised his eyebrows and scratched his head with a “I see we’ve got some work to do in this area.” Is the church failing to preach Creationism? Surely not, when it’s presenting series like The Truth Project … when it’s teaching preschoolers the story of Creation.

I was glad to hear that the facilitator, like me, had unsubscribed from the National Geographic because it was ridiculously pro-evolution. Many name-brand periodicals, like The Smithsonian, have been taken over by Socialists, who enjoy making a mockery of Scripture. They don’t believe in God or the Bible, and they don’t want you to either.

Another gross source of Socialist evolution propaganda is the National Science Foundation, which produces scientific films or documentaries. I had to turn off the film series Appalachia (2009), narrated by Sissy Spacek, because it was so ridiculously anti-God. If you claim to be a believing Christian and can sit through such heathen nonsense and not feel incensed at the myriad untruths, then you need to doublecheck your salvation: something is wrong somewhere. More recently I saw Volcanoes of the Deep Sea (2004), narrated by Ed Harris, and Coral Reef Adventure (2003), narrated by Liam Neeson. I name the narrator because these actors need to be held responsible for contributing to the lie. If they were decent, they would not work on such projects.

A further source of Socialist brainwashing is the public school. One of my granddaughters, who is not too proficient in some subjects, can name all the dinosaurs—in order—an illustration of how students themselves choose what truths or untruths they want to absorb. She could as easily have absorbed history or math, but she chose dinosaurs. And probably other scientific fantasies. Why? We are responsible for what we believe: truth or error.

The Bible clearly says, “In the beginning God created the heaven and the earth” (Genesis 1:1). “And the evening and the morning were the first day” (1:5), “the second day” (1:8), “the third day” (1:13), “the fourth day” (1:19), “the fifty day” (1:23), “the sixth day” (1:31) … “And on the seventh day God … rested” (2:2). God is the originator of Planet Earth. He did not leave us in the dark as to who created it: He told us. “The living God made heaven and earth and the sea, and all things in it” (Acts 14:15; 17:24). He did not leave us in the dark as to how long a day was: He told us. “Evening and morning” (Genesis 1:5). He did not leave us in the dark as to how: He told us. “God said … and there was” (Genesis 1:3). “He spoke, and it was done; He commanded, and it stood fast” (Psalm 33:9). He literally spoke the world into existence and “upholds all things by the word of His power” (Hebrews 1:3).

If you have a pen or pencil, you can sit there, Bible in hand, and scratch out how long each character lived and figure out just how long man has been here, and remember: Adam was created on the sixth day. The earth is only five days older than man: that’s almost his twin.

Now, if you’re one of those brainwashed public school students or one of those anthropology, archaeology, geology, or marine biology majors in college or university, you may be laughing. But really the laugh is on you. You have simply failed to believe the Bible, which is the only authoritative source for the origin of Creation. Just as God created a mature man, not an infant, He created a mature, full-grown earth. It was “science falsely so called” (1 Timothy 6:20) that projected the player Time when Time had nothing to do with it.

The Jews have studied the Holy Scriptures, and according to them the earth, and man, is 5773 years old—they use a lunar calendar, by the way. Go to the Jerusalem Post. Near the top you will see that, per their calculations, the current year is 5773. That is how long the Jews, Bible in hand, with their pencil and scratch paper, figure man has been here. If that is another reason for you to be anti-Semite, that is another reason for me to be pro-Semite. The Jews, at least, are sane enough to be Creationists.

Here are a few dates to remember:

The earth was created c 4000 BC.
The Flood occurred c 2350 BC.
Abraham was born c 2000 BC.
The Exodus took place c 1500 BC.
David was born c 1000 BC.
The Captivity took place c 600 BC.
The Return took place c 500 BC.
Christ was born c 5 BC.
Christ died c AD 30.

Bible scholars will argue about exact dates—no two Bibles agree—because some things, like the Captivity and Return, came intermittenly. I have rounded them to whole numbers for easier reference.

Another mischief of the infamous Socialist evolutionists is changing BC and AD to BCE and CE, respectively. Why do you suppose they did this when BC and AD have been referenced for two thousand years and books are full of such dates? Their only reason for doing so was to get rid of “before Christ” (BC) and “in the year of our Lord” or anno domino (AD).

In the same way that they are scrubbing all references to God from public buildings in DC, they are scrubbing all references to God from textbooks and scientific inquiries, journals, and documentaries. And they don’t want you reading old books, anyway—you might learn something. Like from Job, for instance.

Job is the oldest book in the Bible, perhaps in the world. Job tells us—not one of his friends, but Job himself—that God “stretches out the north over the empty place and hangs the earth on nothing” (Job 26:7). Sans camera or lens, Job just described the top of the world (the Arctic Circle), and Planet Earth suspended in space. God “binds up the waters in His thick clouds, and the cloud is not rent” (26:8) explains what even today’s scientists find inexplicable: how clouds retain their payload of moisture suspended in midair.

When asked among themselves how the Socialists, Communists, were to get rid of old books, they decided that each comrade, working from a list of “subversive” books, would go to libraries, simply lift them, and destroy them: a few at a time.

Schools, colleges, and universities have been hijacked so they can do away with God and preach another gospel. Students have been told that the latest “research” has more validity than old research, so they have been programmed—yes, programmed—to gravitate toward the latest findings. Even college online catalogs list books chronologically, beginning with the newest. This is one way to keep students out of old books. If they cruised the old books, they might discover that many famous scientists of yesteryear were Bible-believers and that true science was Creationist. Even Einstein, the greatest scientist of the twentieth-century, was a Bible-believing Jew. In Israel, each year, there are more patents than in all of Europe.

Wake up! Evolutionary theory is nothing but a lie, a part of the Socialist, Marxist, Communist, anti-God agenda. Don’t buy into it. Read the Book!

“It is absolutely illogical to believe that nothing produces something, or that profoundly intricate designs have come into existence by self-generation.” ~Gordon Olson
